Founding Electrical Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We are building an AI powered electrical engineering platform that helps translate ideas into manufacturable circuits. You will work closely with software and hardware colleagues on real customer projects to shape fast, reliable hardware development. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own 2-4 client projects at a time from requirements through manufacturing. - Design across a broad range of applications including motor controllers, compute carriers, RF and antenna systems, battery management, and high speed interfaces. - Work directly with customers to understand constraints and deliver viable hardware solutions. - Help build internal tools and automation to significantly accelerate hardware design. - Collaborate with layout specialists, firmware engineers, and manufacturing partners. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 1+ years of experience shipping hardware to production and designing PCBs. - Experience with PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium, Cadence, LTSpice or similar. - Broad technical background across multiple domains including high speed digital, power electronics, antennas, BGA fanout, and related areas. - Demonstrated ability to own client projects from requirements gathering through manufacturing. - Experience collaborating with customers and cross functional teams to deliver results. - Experience building internal tooling or automation to improve hardware design processes. - Familiarity with generative AI technologies or AI assisted coding tools is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: USD 160000-200000 annually. Visa sponsorship not available. LOCATION On site in San Francisco, California, United States. The primary location is San Francisco with in person collaboration required.
