Founding UI/UX and Graphic Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding design role at a YC-backed consumer wearable startup, where you will own the entire visual presence of a premium hardware brand from day one. Sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, and brand, this role carries real ownership and is expected to grow into a design leadership position as the company scales. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own end-to-end UI/UX design for the iOS app, from flows and wireframes through to polished production assets. - Lead design across the website, social channels, communications, and email. - Create event invitations and launch collateral that embody the brand. - Define and maintain a unified consumer design language across every digital and physical touchpoint. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2 to 3 or more years of professional design experience; this role is not suitable for recent graduates. - A standout portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetic taste and strong graphic design fundamentals, this is the single most important factor. - Experience delivering polished, user-facing design at a consumer company, or equivalent training from a rigorous design school background. - Comfortable owning a broad design stack spanning mobile UI/UX, web, and marketing collateral, with proficiency in Figma and related tools. - Aesthetic sensibility suited to a premium consumer hardware brand; B2B-only design experience is not a strong fit. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary of £70,000 per year, plus meaningful early equity. No new visa sponsorship; H1B transfers are supported. LOCATION On-site in London, England, United Kingdom.
