Frontend/FullStack Software Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer. What you will do As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will take an active role in developing modern, accessible, secure, and responsive user interfaces for tools used by internal engineers worldwide. You will contribute hands-on code, influence frontend design and engineering practices, and help the team establish sustainable technical standards. In this, you will of course have great support from other colleagues and experts! An important part of the role is sharing knowledge through collaboration, feedback, coaching, and practical examples. You will also contribute beyond your main frontend expertise - for example, by supporting testing, maintenance, incident resolution, documentation, or selected backend tasks. Your future team We are one of four teams developing and maintaining the core application within the product development. Our cross-functional product team includes software engineers, a solution architect, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. Essential capabilities • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex web applications using a modern frontend framework such as React or Angular, together with TypeScript. • Automated build, test, and deployment workflows using Azure and GitHub Actions • Ability to design usable, responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces. • Understanding of secure-by-design practices for web applications. • Experience working collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional software team. • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English in an international working environment. • Willingness to share knowledge and contribute across the team’s workload when needed. Additional capabilities that would be valuable • Web Components and styling approaches such as Bootstrap, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, or Tailwind. • UX practices such as Lean UX and Design Thinking. • Asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services, or test-automation frameworks. • Backend development, particularly Java and the Spring framework. • Designing and consuming REST APIs. • Application architecture, DevOps, or broader system-development experience.
