Who you will work with As a Geophysicist at the Exploration Geophysics department, you'll join an experienced and highly skilled team of geophysicists with diverse backgrounds and expertise. The team works closely with exploration geologists, exploration technicians, development engineers and external partners across several countries. You will be part of an international environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are key to success. What you will do Your primary responsibilities will include planning and overseeing geophysical survey campaigns, as well as processing, quality assuring, and modelling geophysical data in line with Boliden's standards. You will analyse and interpret geophysical data to support mineral exploration projects and contribute to informed decision-making. You will communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to a variety of stakeholders across the business. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of geophysical methods, workflows, and best practices within the department. Collaboration is central to Boliden's culture. What you bring University degree in Geophysics, Geosciences. Professional experience in geophysics or geoscience disciplines. Experience in electromagnetic and potential field methods Experience with geophysical data QA/QC & processing, modelling, and interpretation with industry-standard software. Great teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with a team of geophysicists and exploration geologists. Professional proficiency in English. A valid driver's license and ability to travel as required It is an advantage if you have Knowledge of seismic methods. Extensive experience from mineral exploration. Experience of fieldwork and geophysical surveys. Location The head office resides in the small town of Boliden, Sweden, but living options expand to several nearby villages, towns and cities. Relocation support for you and your family. Alternatively, the position can be based at one of our other exploration offices in Sweden: Garpenberg, Zinkgruvan, or Gällivare.
