Global Onsite Lab Project Manager

the opportunity for SGS Onsite Laboratory Project Process • Work with the SGS local operating teams to schedule and track new onsite laboratory designs, builds and existing onsite laboratory renovations and expansion projects. • Confirm and monitor laboratory equipment purchasing to ensure that it is complete, to the global standard and scheduled to arrive at the appropriate time in the project build.   Required Qualifications: • University degree in a Science or Engineering related program with a strong preference in a Geosciences profession (Geology, Mines, Mineralogy, Environmental Mineralogy, Soil Science etc.). • Select technical experience in a geosciences-related profession with some aspects of business management/personnel management. • Strong working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry. • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail. • Works well under pressure. • Global team involvement will mean that extended and/or irregular hours will be required. • Ability to work well with others & independently, without supervision. • Ability to manage a team • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, fluid and highly professional environment. • Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition (English). • Proficiency in other languages besides English (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic etc.) is valuable.
