About the job As Global Product Manager for grades, you steer the strategic direction of our Turning Indexable grade portfolio and ensure an attractive and competitive offering throughout its lifecycle, from idea generation and development to launch and portfolio optimization. You define the product vision, roadmap and business priorities while driving growth and commercial performance. You report to the Manager Product Management Turning. Job responsibilities Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap and product plans. Lead product initiatives and coordinate activities that support business growth and expected results. Identify and develop new business opportunities, product enhancements and strategic portfolio extensions. Sponsor new product development projects and define business and product requirements. Develop customer value propositions and collaborate closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, pricing, planning, procurement, production, operations and R&D. Drive assortment optimization, strategic partnership opportunities, cost reductions, and performance improvements. Location and flexibility The position offers flexibility within Europe, preferably close to one of our sites. We support a hybrid way of working, combining office presence with remote work. Your profile We’re looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset and broad business understanding who enjoys connecting market needs with product strategy. A relevant educational background supports your experience, and you’re comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment where strategic decisions drive business success. Your background includes Experience from areas such as Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, or R&D. Experience developing, managing and optimizing product portfolios and driving new product development initiatives. Strong skills in market analysis, customer insights and competitive intelligence. Data analysis capabilities and a solid understanding of business and financial drivers. Experience creating product strategies, roadmaps and managing products throughout their lifecycle. Experience and knowledge of carbide grades is a merit. Success in this position comes from combining strategic thinking with a customer-focused approach. You’re analytical, proactive and comfortable making decisions in a dynamic environment.
