A Snapshot of Your Day You start your day collaborating with engineering leaders, project teams and regional stakeholders to align priorities, resources and customer needs. Throughout the day, you guide strategic initiatives, support project execution, review organizational capabilities and drive continuous improvement activities. You work closely with product management, project execution and regional organizations to strengthen collaboration, develop talent and ensure high-quality controls solutions. By balancing people leadership, operational excellence and business objectives, you help position the Medium Gas Turbine Controls organization for sustainable growth and long-term success. How You’ll Make an Impact Strategic leadership and development of the global Medium Gas Turbine Controls engineering organization, fostering collaboration, accountability, continuous learning and high performance Alignment of organizational capabilities, competencies and workforce planning with business growth objectives, future market demands and long-term strategy Implementation of the Medium Gas Turbine Controls Service growth plan in close collaboration with regional organizations Delivery of high-quality, efficient and reliable engineering execution with a strong focus on customer value, project performance and business results Harmonization and continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, standards and digital solutions to increase efficiency, quality and scalability Strengthening of cross-functional collaboration, talent development, succession planning and operational excellence across engineering, project execution, product management and regional teams What You BringEngineering degree or comparable technical background with experience in controls, automation, electrical engineering or related disciplines Solid professional experience in Medium Gas Turbines and/or turbine control systems Proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to developing people, building high-performing teams and creating an inclusive work environment Strong customer orientation and ability to translate business requirements into sustainable and effective engineering solutions Strategic mindset, curiosity and passion for innovation, continuous improvement, digitalization and positive organizational change Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment, fluent English language skills, Swedish language proficiency as an advantage and willingness to travel as required About the Team The Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Controls organization, part of Controls, Digitalization & Nuclear Controls (CD&NUC), is responsible for developing, selling, and delivering innovative and reliable control solutions for the global MGT fleet. Our solutions enable efficient, sustainable, and reliable power generation worldwide. As a key contributor to a growing business, we combine deep technical expertise with a strong customer focus and a commitment to operational excellence. Our team of approximately 50 professionals, organized across six specialized sub-teams, drives the full spectrum of MGT controls activities, including sales enablement and bid managment, research and development, project execution, and service. Covering all phases of the control system lifecycle, we play a critical role in shaping the future of MGT controls technology while supporting our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their assets.
