We are now looking for a Head of Technology - Data, Integrations & AI to lead one of the most strategic technology domains within Scandic. This role brings together our Data, Integration, API and AI capabilities into a single technology organization responsible for building the digital foundations that power our business. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology platforms that enable innovation across more than 280 hotels and millions of guest interactions every year. About the role As Head of Technology Data, Integrations & AI, you will lead the teams and capabilities that transform data into insights, connect business-critical systems through modern integrations and APIs, and establish the technical foundations for AI and automation at scale. You will be part of Scandic's IT Leadership Team and work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Finance, HR, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure and Information Security. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on technology understanding, helping the organization make sound long-term technology decisions while delivering measurable business value. Your mission Build and operate the technology platforms that enable Scandic's digital business. You will be accountable for: Enterprise Data Platform Integration & API Platform AI & Automation Platform Data Governance and Information Management Platform Engineering Practices and Technology Standards Your goal is to create scalable, reusable capabilities that accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency and enable better decision-making across the company. Key responsibilities Data & Analytics Define and execute Scandic's enterprise data strategy. Develop modern data platform capabilities supporting analytics, reporting and AI. Establish data governance, ownership, quality and lifecycle management practices. Enable self-service analytics and trusted data products across the organization. Drive adoption of data-driven decision making. Integrations & APIs Own the enterprise integration and API strategy. Ensure secure, scalable and reliable integrations across business-critical platforms. Drive modernization towards API-first and event-driven architectures. Reduce integration complexity and technical debt. Improve observability, documentation and operational excellence. AI & Automation Define and execute Scandic's technical AI roadmap. Establish platforms, guardrails and engineering standards for AI solutions. Enable AI-powered automation across hotel operations and business functions. Drive value realization from Microsoft Copilot and future AI capabilities. Partner with business stakeholders to identify and scale high-value use cases. Leadership & Organizational Development Lead, coach and develop a high-performing technology organization. Foster a product-oriented and platform-driven culture. Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams. Manage strategic vendors, suppliers and technology partners. Own budget planning, investments and value realization within the domain.
