Job Scope High level purpose of function. Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's health and safety management system. Ensures compliance with applicable work environment legislation, regulations, and company requirements. Identifies, assesses, and supports the control of occupational risks through risk assessments, exposure monitoring, inspections, and incident investigations. Supports managers and operational teams in the daily work environment and safety activities, including risk assessments, investigations, and follow-up of incidents, near misses, and risk observations. Promotes a proactive safety culture and contributes to continuous improvement of health and safety performance. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with managers and stakeholders across the organization to lead, coordinate, and advance systematic health and safety management and the development of a strong safety culture. Participates in the work of building up a Health & Safety management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 and Lyten's internal standards. Carry out training in health and safety. Compile and follow up KPI´s and report to management and other relevant parties. Support the organization in connection with risk assessments and other risk reviews. If necessary, support with investigations of incidents and accidents, with the aim of finding root causes and proposing measures to prevent it from happening again. Carry out investigations regarding physical work environment aspects such as exposure to chemical substances, noise, and ergonomic factors. Support the organization with expertise within health and safety. Inform, train, and coach leaders and employees in health and safety. Monitor and interpret changes in regulations. Manage or perform occupational exposure measurement. Manage and be superuser for existing systems regarding health and safety (TIA). Provide technical solutions for change management and new projects within health and safety. Lead or participate in health and safety related committees. Contacts with authorities. Requirements Educational background and previous experience required for the role. Degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, work environment engineering, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent qualifications demonstrated through education and professional experience. 5+ years of work experience as a health and safety engineer, specialist or coordinator. Strong knowledge and experience with Swedish health and safety legislation, rules, regulations, and reporting processes. Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment methods. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Experience in the battery manufacturing industry is a plus. Expertise in specific areas within health and safety, for example ergonomics, ATEX, or chemicals is a plus. Specific skills Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus. Highly organized and result driven. Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently. Has a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
