What's it like being a Host Lead in Housekeeping at Scandic Go?As a Host Lead with main responsibility in Housekeeping, you're all about the guest experience. On your shift, you are responsible to make sure everything runs smoothly, and the guests are happy. You assign tasks to your team and check that they do them safely, correctly, and with quality. You have a key role in making sure the hotel rooms and common areas are clean and comfy for the guests. You work closely with the Operations Manager to plan the schedule and staff needs. You also have a hand in many other things, like welcoming new hires, helping the Operations Manager with ordering stuff and checking deliveries, and making sure everyone follows the safety and food handling rules. You manage daily tasks for Housekeeping based on Scandic's cleaning concept and keep track of, and improve, the main goals (KPIs) for both Housekeeping and the Lounge. You're a jack of all trades, and you Love it. You're always ready to jump in and help out wherever you can. You're friendly, flexible, and fun. One day you are cleaning rooms and the other day you are a barista in the Lounge. You're the heart of Scandic Go. Who are you? We are looking for an enthusiastic Host Lead who understands the importance of and drives collaboration across the hotel. You should be good at talking to people and fluent in Swedish and English. Other languages are a plus. But what really matters is who you are and how you act. About the positionWe're looking for someone to join our team as a Host Lead with main responsibility in Housekeeping. You'll work on different shifts - including evenings and weekends and both in Housekeeping and the Lounge. Your boss will be the Operations Manager. As a Host Lead with main responsibility in Housekeeping: You handle weekly and daily adjustments in the schedules. You assign tasks to your team members. You are welcoming new hires and train them to do the job the Scandic way. You assist with ordering the supplies you need for the hotel and check the deliveries when they arrive. You assist bort the Operations Manager and the employees with their daily tasks and help the employees with any questions they may have. You follow the safety procedures and make sure your team does the same. To succeed as a Host Lead we think that you: - are already working as a Shift Leader - are experienced in scheduling - have strong communication and organizational skills - are a hands-on person who's not afraid to dig in to any sort of task!
