HR Business Partner
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted business partner and HR subject matter expert advisor to senior executives and managers. Develop HR strategies and practices with leadership to enhance employee development, performance, engagement, and retention. Leverage the employee engagement platform to communicate results, identify trends in data, and propose solutions to managers. Recommend policy changes to support business needs based on provincial legislation. Guide the day-to-day execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to managers and employees. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Advocate for employee engagement and well-being. Must be willing and able to travel as needed to build relationships with the broader team, assigned business units, and deliver on key responsibilities. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and performance management. Bilingual in French and English is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations or a related discipline; CHRP, CRHA, CPHR, or other HR certification preferred. Strong working knowledge of provincial employment laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Willingness to travel as required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
