Polygon is looking for an HR Specialist to join our Group headquarters in Stockholm (Hötorget). In this role, you will work both operationally and strategically, with a focus on payroll, benefits, and compensation processes, while also contributing to a variety of HR-related activities. You will become a key member of a collaborative and flexible team, with plenty of opportunities to make an impact and drive improvements. About the Role As an HR Specialist – Compensation, Benefits & Payroll, you will be an important part of our Group HR team and report directly to the Head of Group HR. Based at Polygon’s Group headquarters in Stockholm, you will work closely with both Swedish and international colleagues. This role combines specialist responsibilities within Compensation & Benefits and Payroll with broader HR activities, offering significant variety and the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of HR. Key Responsibilities Lead the coordination of payroll and benefits at Group level, with operational responsibility for the Swedish headquarter. Manage employee benefits, including vendor relationships, administration, and employee benefit platforms. Support annual salary review processes and bonus administration for headquarters and Country Managers. Conduct pay equity analyses and salary reviews in accordance with legislation and company guidelines. Prepare HR reports and analyze key HR metrics. Act as system owner for Heartpace and maintain the employee handbook. Coordinate with external payroll providers. Manage HR administration and contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives. Manage onboarding and offboarding activities. Experience and Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you have a structured and systematic approach to your work. You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. You can easily alternate between focusing on details and seeing the bigger picture, ensuring clarity and accuracy in everything you do. You are a reliable and collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and working closely with others. At the same time, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of driving tasks forward while balancing multiple priorities. We also see that you have: A university degree in Payroll, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Several years of experience within HR and/or Payroll, with hands-on exposure to Compensation & Benefits processes. Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in working with data, reporting, and analysis. Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
