the opportunity to contribute to a growing, international People & Culture function - helping shape an evolving organisation while balancing local needs with European and global priorities. Strategic HR & Business Partnership Partner with German leaders and stakeholders to translate global and European People & Culture strategies into impactful local initiatives. Support executives and senior leaders on people, culture, and organisational topics aligned with AXS’s business goals. Act as the primary People & Culture interface for AXS Germany, reporting directly to the VP, People & Culture, Europe. Collaborate closely with European and Global People & Culture leadership to ensure alignment, consistency, and best‑practice sharing. Culture, Integration & Harmonisation Actively shape and strengthen AXS culture in Germany in line with global values, behaviours, and engagement ambitions. Lead and support integration and harmonisation initiatives across Germany, ensuring consistency in people processes, policies, and ways of working while respecting local requirements. Design and deliver culture, engagement, and employee experience initiatives, including follow‑up actions from annual engagement surveys. Support change and transformation initiatives, acting as a coach and sounding board for leaders and teams. Employee Lifecycle & Organisational Development Own and support the full employee lifecycle in Germany - from workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and development through to offboarding. Further develop learning, talent, and development initiatives, including performance management, feedback processes, compensation, and bonus cycles. Support succession planning and talent reviews in partnership with European People & Culture colleagues. Recruitment & Employer Branding Plan and support recruitment activities in Germany to enable sustainable growth and attract top talent. Partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, selection, and decision‑making. Contribute to and implement local employer branding initiatives that strengthen AXS’s reputation as an employer of choice in Germany. HR Operations, Reporting & Compliance Partner closely with Finance to support payroll and benefits administration, including data validation, monthly payroll inputs, benefits enrolment and lifecycle management (joiners, changes, leavers), reporting, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience across all related processes. Partner with Global People & Culture and local teams on HR reporting, including headcount, personnel metrics, and cost reporting. Advise managers on German labour law, employee relations, and works council matters where applicable. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal policies while supporting the harmonisation of HR practices across Europe. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or in a comparable role within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, with strong expertise across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment and talent management. Proven experience supporting organisational change, transformation, and organisational development initiatives, with the ability to identify practical, business‑aligned solutions to emerging challenges. Strong relationship‑building skills with a demonstrated ability to establish trust and credibility with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels. Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, able to influence stakeholders positively, navigate complexity, and collaborate effectively across teams and functions. Highly organised with a structured, detail‑oriented approach; able to manage multiple priorities, handle high volumes of work, and maintain accuracy under pressure. Team‑oriented mindset with a track record of contributing to shared goals, fostering collaboration, and building strong professional relationships across departments. Strong affinity for HR systems, data, and tools, with the ability to leverage insights to support decision‑making and continuous improvement. Exceptional German and English language skills, with experience working in international environments (ideally with US‑based teams), combined with a flexible, positive attitude and a genuine passion for the live entertainment industry. DESIRABLE A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Law, or a related field, or a recognised HR qualification.
