Information & IT Security Consultants – Umeå Location: Umeå, Sweden Working Model: Mostly Remote Contract Type: Consultant / Sub-consultant Start: Immediate End: 31 December 2029 Extension Option: Until 31 December 2030 Application Deadline: 1 October 2026 About the Assignment We are looking for a team of up to four experienced Information & IT Security Consultants for a long-term assignment within cybersecurity and IT security. The assignment covers security operations, technical support, security analysis, maintenance of security infrastructure, and information security activities. The work is primarily remote, with the assignment location being Umeå, Sweden. Key Responsibilities The consultants may work with: Cybersecurity analysis Information security classification Penetration testing Security incident management Log monitoring and analysis Troubleshooting of technical security components Firewall infrastructure support and maintenance Security platform administration Security monitoring and operational support Technical investigation and problem resolution Knowledge sharing and skills transfer Participation in information and IT security projects Some activities may require security classification/clearance. Required Team Profile The team should collectively meet competency level 2 in Information Security. The team will consist of up to four consultants, including: At least three consultants with documented experience with Check Point security products At least two consultants with documented IT security experience within a healthcare environment Consultants with experience in demanding public-sector assignments Consultants with relevant education, training, or certifications related to information and IT security Strong communication skills in Swedish and English Required Experience Candidates should have experience with several of the following: Check Point security products Firewall infrastructure Network security Cybersecurity Information security Security incident management Log analysis and monitoring Penetration testing Security troubleshooting Security platforms Information security classification IT security operations Public-sector environments Healthcare IT security environments Candidate Profile We are looking for experienced security professionals who can work independently and as part of a consulting team. You should have practical experience in information and IT security, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with complex security environments. Experience from public-sector and healthcare environments is highly relevant. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
