Infrastructure (Cloud) Engineer
Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on Linux Systems Engineering in large-scale, high-availability environments; deep knowledge of OS internals, scripting (Bash, Python, Go), and configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible). 5+ years of hands-on cloud/infrastructure engineering experience designing and managing foundational components (networking, IAM, security, account structures) in AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud experience is a plus. Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals and large-scale architecture. Experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute) and complex network topologies, including routing, firewalls, and peering. Solid foundation in cloud security, identity, governance, and compliance best practices. Hands-on experience with observability stacks (e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations, Prometheus, Grafana). Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi) for provisioning and managing core cloud services. Experience with cloud cost management, tagging strategies, and reporting tools. Strong automation mindset; able to automate operational tasks with code. Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative, team-oriented attitude. Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain and document complex architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly Desired Skills: Prior experience acting as a lead engineer or architect, owning a substantial portion of an organization's infrastructure. Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) from an infrastructure provisioning and security standpoint. Deep knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting at the OS, network, and application layers. Experience setting up or maintaining centralized organizational structures/landing zones (e.g., AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zones).
