Installation Site Manager

For our client from industrial manufacturing sector we are looking for 💠 Installation Site Manager💠 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to coordinate the installation of new industrial equipment at a customer site. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting the successful completion of the project within the agreed timeline. As the primary on-site coordinator, you will work closely with the customer, installation teams, and project stakeholders, reporting project progress and outcomes to the Project Manager. Full-time arragement, onsite: Belgium, 9520 Bavegem Project duration: approximately 2 months. Planned start: November. Planned completion: January Standard working schedule: 8 hours per day. Occasional overtime and Saturday work may be required depending on project needs. No Sunday work is expected. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary on-site representative during equipment installation activities. Coordinate the unloading and handling of mechanical and electrical equipment and materials. Ensure all site activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Organize and deliver site safety inductions and training where required. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and technical installation teams. Support resource planning and scheduling of on-site activities. Monitor installation progress and proactively address potential delays or issues. Ensure installation work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular coordination meetings with customer representatives and subcontractors. Maintain project documentation, site reports, and meeting records. Report project progress, risks, and outcomes to the Project Manager. Support quality assurance and project implementation procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager, Installation Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role within industrial projects. Experience coordinating equipment installation or commissioning activities at customer sites. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders in a project environment. Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE/OHS) requirements. Ability to manage site logistics, resource planning, and installation activities. Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Fluent Dutch (preferred) or French (mandatory if Dutch is not spoken). Good command of English. Nice to Have Experience in the Food Processing, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Knowledge of hygienic installation requirements, including piping systems and welding standards. Previous experience working with industrial machinery installation projects.
