Together with suppliers and internal engineering teams located in Sweden and China, you will coordinate software development, integration, verification and release activities for inverter and power electronics products. As the Inverter and Power Electronics Software Responsible, you are the software component owner for the inverter or power electronics product in your project. You lead and coordinate software deliveries throughout the development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition to integration, verification, release and industrialization. You work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, function owners, test teams, project leaders and suppliers to ensure that the software supports the overall product and vehicle targets. You are the main software interface towards the supplier for the product in your scope. You establish and maintain the software plan, secure requirements traceability, manage technical issues and deviations, and follow up software maturity, quality, cost and timing against project targets. You coordinate software baselines and releases, support integration and fault tracing, and ensure that changes are assessed and implemented in a controlled manner. You also contribute to technical reviews and risk management, including functional safety, cyber security, diagnostics and compliance with relevant development processes. Skill requirements Do you fit the profile? You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience. You have experience in power electronics, embedded software development, software integration or technical coordination for inverters, electrical drive units, DC/DC converters, on-board chargers or similar power electronics products. Knowledge of AUTOSAR, embedded C, communication protocols, diagnostics, calibration, continuous integration and software configuration management is valuable. Experience of supplier-developed software and automotive development frameworks such as ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434 is an advantage. The cross-functional nature of the role requires structured planning, sound technical judgement and the ability to lead without formal authority. You communicate clearly, take ownership and can balance technical quality with cost and timing. You are fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Swedish is beneficial for local collaboration.
