The Lab & Analytical Applications team supports the laboratory systems used across Research & Development and Quality functions, ensuring they are compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose in regulated environments. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated**IT Specialist - Lab & Analytical Applications**to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. **Overview of Job Role** In this role, you will serve as a technical expert for laboratory and analytical systems, supporting their full lifecycle from implementation and validation through ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and user support. You will work closely withbusiness stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure laboratory applicationsremaincompliant, effective, and aligned with business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional with experience in regulated environments who is passionate about supporting scientific operations through innovative and compliant IT solutions. **Scope and responsibility:** - Drive lifecycle management and general administration of laboratory and analytical systems like Bioanalytical LIMS,Polar and other laboratory systems. - Support system upgrades, improvements, optimization initiatives, and enhancements. - Act as the primary technical contact for vendors and service providers, collaborating closely to implement system changes and improvements. - Serve as the IT technical expert for supported laboratory applications and systems. - Ensure system-related processes and proceduresremaincurrent, effective, and compliant. - Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs and validation documentation. - Deliver user training and provide ongoing user support. - Support system testing, qualification, and validation activities. - Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and process improvements to continuously enhance system performance. **Job requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience. - Minimum 2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. - Experience working in aGxP-regulated environment. - Knowledge of computer system validation principles and practices. - Experience working with laboratory systems and applications. - Understanding of laboratory processes and workflows. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support complex and multidisciplinary environments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent tasks effectively. - Fluent in English, both written andspoken. **What we offer:** **Meaningful Work:**Support technologies that enable the development and manufacturing of life-changing biosimilar medicines. **Global Growth:**Join a fast-growing international company with colleagues and operations across multiple countries. **Collaborative Environment:**Work closely with IT, laboratory, quality, and business teams in a dynamic and knowledge-sharing culture. **Career Development:**Gain exposure to advanced laboratory technologies, regulated environments, and global projects. ### About Us At Alvotech, we are building a global biotechnology company with a clear purpose: to expand access to high-quality, affordable biologic medicines for patients worldwide.
