Java Cloud Developer Work description: You will be part of a team within Cloud Platform and Remote Functions, with a mission to enable remote functions globally to contribute to the overall connected experience. They build, provide, and operate a highly secure run-time ecosystem for functions and applications serving connected cars, and their users. Connecting the user and the digital key with the car in the cloud and the actual phone, that is the challenge we are to solve. You will be creating solutions and integrate it with key players in the industry such as Google, Samsung and Apple among others. Your background You are an experienced Java cloud developer with at least 5 years of work experience as a Java Cloud Developer. You are curious and have a quality mindset and sees CI/CD as something that is essential for being a developer. Knowledge and hands on experience of Kubernetes is a key part if you are to help lead this into the future together with us. Previous experience from the automotive industry is a plus due to tight integrations towards the car even though the work will be cloud development. This role is challenging and rewarding. You will need to be structured and also be able to execute on requirements and helping out in defining the work to be planned and implemented. Skills needed: Java coding Cloud setup, configuration, deployment Apache Kafka MQTT Open API Unit testing Continuous Integration and Delivery Database knowledge Cryptography and security knowledge Agile ways of working with Scrum and similar Automotive experience is beneficial BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience Mastering the English language both spoken and in writing Swedish driving license B is a plus Personal qualities Team player with strong collaboration skills Good communication skills; the ability to share results verbally as well as in writing in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge Structured and analytical way of taking on tasks and performing on a daily basis in a result-oriented way Additional info: We schedule interviews on a rolling basis so do not wait until end date.
