Stable and well-controlled production processes are important for ensuring consistent product performance, and close collaboration between our technical teams is an important part of our work. As our Process Engineer – MOCVD, you will work closely with Production, R&D, Tool Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality. The role combines process engineering, data analysis, problem solving, hands-on technical work, and continuous improvement. You will work with advanced MOCVD production processes, investigate process-related issues, support the transfer of new processes into production, and contribute to improving process stability, capability, yield, and performance. You will be part of a growing semiconductor company where collaboration between different technical functions is important for developing and strengthening our production capabilities. Key Responsibilities Take technical ownership of assigned MOCVD production processes and approved production recipes. Monitor and improve process performance, stability, capability, yield, and repeatability. Define and maintain critical process parameters, operating windows, limits, and acceptance criteria. Analyse process and measurement data to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities. Investigate abnormal runs, process excursions, and deteriorating process performance. Develop, implement and maintain SPC and other statistical process-control methods. Perform structured experiments and DOE to understand process sensitivities and optimize process windows. Support the transfer and industrialization of new processes and products from R&D into production. Define process qualification and requalification requirements for new or modified processes and following significant equipment interventions. Work closely with Tool Engineering and Maintenance to distinguish process-related from equipment-related issues. Support root-cause investigations of process-related deviations, non-conforming products, and customer issues. Participate in PFMEA, CAPA, change control, and other process-related quality activities. Develop and maintain process specifications, production recipes, control plans, qualification documentation, and technical reports. Contribute to continuous improvement of yield, throughput, process stability, cycle time, and manufacturing cost. Provide technical process support to Operators and Production personnel. Qualifications B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, Nanotechnology, or equivalent. Understanding of semiconductor, thin-film, epitaxy, vacuum, or comparable advanced manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills. Experience in analyzing process and measurement data. Ability to work both analytically and hands-on in a production environment. Good technical documentation and communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written Swedish. Experience with MOCVD/MOVPE processes or equipment, III-V semiconductor materials such as GaN, AlGaN, InGaN or GaAs, epitaxial growth, SPC, DOE, Cpk/Ppk, PFMEA, 8D, RCA, semiconductor gas and utility systems, or ISO 9001/IATF 16949 is considered an advantage. Experience with or knowledge of Monitor ERP is also considered an advantage.
