On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Developer. You want your first major BI role to involve real users, real decisions and experienced colleagues who will help you sharpen both technical and analytical judgement. The partner is expanding its reporting capability and needs a developer who can turn well defined business questions into clear, maintainable dashboards. You will work with senior data colleagues and gradually own complete reporting areas. The partner wants data and AI work that can be operated, explained and improved after launch. Provenance, quality, access and evaluation belong in the solution from the beginning. How you will work You will work with engineers, analysts and domain specialists who look at the same information from different angles. The partner expects assumptions, datasets and evaluation methods to be visible. Solutions should be designed for repeatable delivery, monitored use and responsible change after deployment. You will work with experienced colleagues who review both the outcome and the reasoning behind it. The partner expects curiosity, care and steady growth rather than instant expertise. You will receive real responsibility in controlled steps and clear opportunities to build evidence of your capability. What you will do Build and maintain Power BI reports and semantic models. Write SQL queries and validate source data. Clarify requirements with business users. Test measures, filters and refresh behaviour. Document definitions and report ownership. Support users and improve dashboards from feedback. What you will bring Education or early professional experience in data, IT, engineering or economics. Working SQL knowledge. Experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar tool. Basic understanding of data modelling. Careful communication and willingness to ask precise questions. Professional English; Swedish is useful in user facing environments. Experience that would add value DAX, Power Query or Microsoft Fabric. Internship or project using operational business data. Interest in finance, logistics or public sector reporting. A background that can succeed here You might be a recent graduate, a support analyst moving into BI or a business controller with strong technical ability. We care about how you check your work and explain a number, not whether you have used every tool in the stack. What makes the opportunity interesting You will receive meaningful responsibility with access to experienced support. The partner offers a practical learning curve and work that becomes visible quickly when a team gains a report it can finally trust. The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time. The recruitment conversation During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap. How to apply Apply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant system, product or transformation you have helped deliver. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into technology and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
