Key responsibilities: RFQ data preparation: You drive crucial analyses and extract valuable insights based on customer data and requirements, used to make tangible commercial decisions, impacting the growth and profitability of the entire group, at the same time, ensuring that our customer-centric approach remains at the forefront of our business strategy. Profitability simulations: You act as the conduit between operations, sales and senior management by facilitating business discussions and decisions on revenue/cost through flexible simulation models you will be building. Market intelligence: You are at the forefront of logistics innovations, customer wishes and competitive dynamics through collecting micro- and macro-economical insights on the market internally and externally. Your skills and qualifications: Minimum: a bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering, or any other quantitative relevant field. Affinity for data analysis. Advanced MS Excel proficiency and modelling: Mastery of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization. Ability to create and maintain data models for in-depth analysis. Macro- & micro-economic trends analysis and market research data collection: Understanding of macroeconomic trends affecting the logistics industry. Ability to analyse and interpret economic indicators, conduct interviews and other data collection methods to extract insights from the wider business (e.g. Sales, IT, Strategy, etc.). Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Problem-solving skills. The ability to plan and work independently towards set goals. Qualifications that are desirable: Previous experience in data analysis of large datasets and in pricing Proven experience in RFQ (Request for Quotation) data analysis Ability to conduct pricing, cost and profitability flexible simulations based on various factors. Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and techniques (e.g., AI-driven pricing, machine learning, predictive modelling) for enhancing pricing strategies. Master’s degree in relevant area.
