Junior Electronics Hardware Developer

In this role, you will work across the full development chain, from early concept work and circuit design to verification, documentation, and support during implementation in production. The work sits close to both suppliers and internal functions such as product management and factory teams, giving you a clear view of how design decisions affect performance, manufacturability, and quality.</p><p>This is a role for you if you enjoy combining analog and digital design with practical engineering and cross-functional collaboration. You will contribute to electronics that need to perform reliably in demanding environments, with a strong connection between development, verification, and industrialization. It is an exciting opportunity to build hands-on experience in industrial electronics and follow your designs all the way to serial production.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>You will design, develop, and implement analog and digital circuits from concept phase to serial production for softstarter and contactor products.</li><li>You will take ownership of hardware development activities and collaborate closely with suppliers, product management, and factory teams.</li><li>You will create schematics and define constraints for PCB layout to support robust, reliable, and manufacturable designs.</li><li>You will define verification specifications and carry out verification activities through simulation and prototype testing.</li><li>You will document the developed solutions and support handover and implementation in factory environments.</li><li>You will contribute to laboratory work related to prototype testing and validation.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in development of industrial electronics within embedded systems as a hardware design engineer.</li><li>Sound knowledge in designing electronic circuits, circuit diagrams, and working with simulation tools.</li><li>Experience in testing and validation of prototypes in a laboratory.</li><li>Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 5%).</li><li>Fluency in English, written and spoken.</li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of EMC compatible design.</li><li>Proven experience in working with voltage levels up to approximately 1kV.</li><li>Swedish language skills.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Permanent employment at Avaron AB</li><li>Occupational pension</li><li>Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year</li></ul><h3>Application</h3><p>Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.</p>
