Junior Fashion Designer - Women's Jersey

Join our Women's Jersey team as a Junior Designer and play a hands-on role in creating fashion that reaches customers around the world. From the first sketch to the final sample, you’ll be right at the heart of the design process—helping shape collections that launch across all H&M markets and omni channels, reaching millions of customers globally. You’ll work within women’s jersey bringing fresh ideas and a strong fashion point of view to everything you create. You’ll develop concepts, create technical sketches, support fittings and follow your designs through the sample process, working closely with the wider team to turn ideas into beautifully executed product. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic mix of Designers, Product Developers, Planners, Pattern Makers and Product Managers, learning from experts across the business while contributing your own perspective. We’re looking for someone who instinctively understands trends, silhouette, colour and detail—and knows how to translate them into product that feels relevant, desirable and commercially strong. You’ll bring curiosity to the process, challenge ideas, spot opportunities and help create jersey collections that feel fresh, modern and unmistakably H&M. You’ll balance fashion impact with commercial awareness, always thinking about the customer and how great design can work at scale. If you’re curious, collaborative and constantly inspired by fashion, with the confidence to bring new ideas to the table and the flexibility to make them happen, we want to hear from you.   WHO YOU ARE  Holds a BA/MA in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience as a JR Designer/Assistant Proficiency in Illustrator; 3D CLO experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and material knowledge Experience in creating specs and technical files A keen eye for fashion with a visionary mindset and passion for women’s fashion and trends A customer-focused and commercial mindset Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude Highly organized and structured work routine Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment A quick learner with strong self-drive and initiative Fluency in English (Swedish is not required)   WHO WE ARE ​ H&M Group is a global company of strong fashion brands and ventures.
