Kitchen Assistant (köksbiträde) in Malmö

Connecting Jobs, run by the non-profit organization Beredskapslyftet, supports newcomers in taking their first steps into the Swedish labour market – while at the same time helping employers access new talent. We are now looking for Kitchen Assistants for a restaurant in central Malmö. The restaurant is popular with both tourists and local guests. It serves lunch on weekdays, à la carte dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, and brunch on Sundays, which makes the work varied, with different tempos during the day and week. In the kitchen, you work with preparing and cooking both hot and cold dishes, and you will be part of keeping the kitchen running smoothly every day. Location: Malmö Who we are looking for: Köksbiträde (Kitchen Assistant) Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking both hot and cold dishes Receiving deliveries Washing dishes Cleaning the kitchen Requirements: You speak Swedish or English at a basic level and can express yourself in simple conversations Previous experience is considered a merit You are able to work shifts between 10:00 and 22:00 (OB available) What the employer offers: Temporary, full-time employment (visstidsanställning) with possible prolongation Staff discounts Work clothes provided Important: This position is part of a project that is co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labor market. The participants hold residence permits in Sweden but do not have Swedish citizenship or EU/EEA citizenship.
