We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer and Tech Lead for a consulting assignment with a global leader in the automotive and transport industry . The role focuses on contributing to a digital retail platform used by distributors and service advisors worldwide to optimize service operations and information flow . Assignment description In this role, you will take on technical leadership and share responsibility for developing and maintaining cloud-based microservices and micro-frontends . The application is built on an event-driven architecture utilizing React micro-frontends, Kotlin microservices, Kafka for messaging, and AWS with Kubernetes for cloud deployment managed via GitLab CI pipelines . As a Tech Lead, you will guide team members, support continuous learning, promote best practices such as trunk-based development and continuous deployment, and ensure high operational reliability . Requirements and nice-to-haves Must-haves: Hands-on software development expertise with Kotlin, React, and Kafka . Strong collaboration and communication skills combined with a down-to-earth, proactive mindset . Ability to work on-site at the office in Södertälje according to the team's schedule . Full professional proficiency in English . Nice-to-haves: Experience operating cloud-native systems in AWS and Kubernetes environments . Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitLab CI . Background in engineering cultures where developers take direct ownership of automation, deployment, reliability, and operability . Location Södertälje . Remote/office policy Hybrid working arrangement with team days on-site in Södertälje (currently Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Fridays) or Stockholm, combined with remote work .
