<p>We are currently looking for a <strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong> for a consulting assignment with one of our clients, where you will join their BI & Analytics function in Stockholm.</p><p>The team is currently growing, and you will play an important role in strengthening the technical capabilities of the Stockholm-based team and contributing to the continued development of the company’s data and BI platform.</p><p>This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working closely with data, solving technical challenges, and continuously improving existing data flows and solutions.</p><h3>The Assignment</h3><p>As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work with:</p><ul><li><p>Developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and data flows</p></li><li><p>Further developing and optimizing the data warehouse in <strong>Snowflake</strong></p></li><li><p>Data modelling and transformation using <strong>dbt</strong></p></li><li><p>Orchestration and automation of data workflows using <strong>Airflow</strong></p></li><li><p>Data processing and development using <strong>Spark</strong></p></li><li><p>Developing and improving existing BI and analytics solutions</p></li><li><p>Ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability across data pipelines</p></li><li><p>Working with data ingestion, transformation, and modelling</p></li><li><p>Collaborating closely with BI/Analytics and other technical teams to turn business needs into robust data solutions</p></li><li><p>Identifying opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and overall data platform capabilities</p></li></ul><p>You will work in a modern cloud-based data environment where <strong>AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Spark, and Airflow</strong> are key parts of the technology stack.</p><h3>We are looking for someone who has</h3><ul><li><p>Several years of experience working as a <strong>Data Engineer</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong <strong>SQL</strong> skills</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses, preferably <strong>Snowflake</strong></p></li><li><p>Practical experience with <strong>dbt</strong> and modern analytics engineering practices</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>Airflow</strong> and data pipeline orchestration</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>Spark</strong> and large-scale data processing</p></li><li><p>Experience working with <strong>AWS</strong> or a comparable cloud environment</p></li><li><p>Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and modelling</p></li><li><p>A strong focus on data quality, performance, and building robust solutions</p></li><li><p>The ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliveries</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in English</p></li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li><p>Experience with <strong>Tableau</strong> or other BI/visualization tools</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>Python</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning</p></li><li><p>Experience working closely with BI and Analytics teams</p></li></ul><h3>The Team</h3><p>You will join a <strong>technology- and product-oriented team in Stockholm</strong></p><p>This is an opportunity to join a team that is developing its data capabilities and work with a modern data stack while having significant ownership of the day-to-day development and optimization of the platform.</p><h3>Practical Information</h3><p><strong>Role:</strong> Senior Data Engineer<br><strong>Engagement:</strong> Full-time consulting assignment<br><strong>Start:</strong> As agreed/ASAP<br><strong>Duration:</strong> Approximately 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension<br><strong>Location:</strong> Stockholm<br><strong>Work model:</strong> Hybrid – one day per week remote, either Monday or Friday<br><br><br><br></p>
