Our values Location: Chennai Deadline: 2026.10.28 Job Description: • Own end-to-end manufacturing execution of automation projects after drawing and BOM handover, covering procurement coordination, assembly, integration, testing, FAT and dispatch. • Review drawings, BOMs and specifications for manufacturing readiness and coordinate with Engineering to resolve technical clarifications. • Coordinate with SCM, Procurement and local vendors to ensure material readiness, fabrication and timely availability of components. • Lead automation machine assembly, including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, pneumatics, integration and final system build. • Manage testing, FAT, punch-point closure, packing and dispatch as per project schedules. • Lead HMLV/EMS assembly operations for multiple HLA businesses, managing production plans, manpower, capacity and changing product requirements. • Plan and optimize the 7,000 sq.ft. shopfloor, including workstations, material flow, assembly and testing areas. • Establish standardized manufacturing processes and drive improvements in productivity, quality, lead time and cost. • Lead and develop engineers, technicians and assembly teams while ensuring 5S,s ESD, safety and quality compliance. • Support manufacturing capability development, tooling, equipment and CAPEX requirements for future business expansion. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field. • 10–12 years of experience, preferably around 10 years, in industrial automation, machine building or manufacturing. • Strong hands-on experience in automation machine assembly, integration and FAT. • Proven experience managing projects from Engineering Handover → Procurement → Assembly → Testing → FAT → Dispatch. • Good experience in HMLV/EMS manufacturing, preferably handling multiple HLA/customer programs. • Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings, BOMs, production planning and shopfloor management. • Experience coordinating with SCM, Procurement, vendors and subcontractors. • Experience leading engineers, technicians and assembly teams. • Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-functional coordination skills. • Exposure to facility setup, manufacturing improvement, tooling or CAPEX planning is an advantage.
