Lead Software Engineer - Mainframe

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of mainframe development experience. 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or being a technical lead. Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners. Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues. Good to have: Experience working in financial services, credit, or data-driven enterprise environments. Exposure to modern DevOps practices for mainframe development. Experience integrating mainframe applications with distributed systems and APIs. Knowledge of IBM z/OS ecosystem and related tools.   Competencies: Technical leadership with a hands-on approach. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation. This role is ideal for a senior mainframe professional who enjoys balancing hands-on development with technical leadership, ensuring the delivery and ongoing support of business-critical applications within Experian Business Information.
