Assignment Description Legal Counsel to the European Business Unit, with responsibilities spanning commercial structuring, competition law, M&A activity etc. Engage with stakeholders across marketing, operations, sourcing, and business development, tackling everything from product claims and pricing models to strategic collaborations and route-to-market changes. ■ Strong track record in commercial contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and legal advisory across operations, sales and supply chain. ■ Provide legal guidance on competition law, trade terms, and consumer protection, ensuring compliance across diverse European jurisdictions. ■ Collaborate closely with sales, sourcing and operations teams, advising on pricing models, discount schemes, and trade arrangements. ■ Naturally curious and commercially aware, with a strong desire to understand the business and add value beyond legal parameters. ■ Adaptable and self-directed, with the ability to create legal frameworks and processes in areas that may lack existing structure. ■ Confident in navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity to complex or novel legal and commercial questions. ■ Persuasive and collaborative communicator, capable of coaching and influencing senior stakeholders and business partners.
