Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel Stockholm Quartr is the intelligence layer financial AI runs on. Our structured, real-time IR data is trusted by leading financial institutions and technology companies worldwide. We’re headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in New York, Dublin and Gothenburg, and a team of 150+ people. We’re now looking for a Legal Counsel in Stockholm who will own legal across our Swedish parent company and its US and Irish subsidiaries. You’ll report directly to our CFO/COO and work closely with product, leadership and our commercial teams to keep Quartr moving fast without cutting corners. This is a broad role with real ownership. You’ll handle corporate legal for the group, act as a trusted partner to our product organisation as we develop new products and uses of data, and build the structure, tools and processes that let legal scale with the business. What you’ll do Own corporate legal for the group, including board and shareholder matters, general meetings, share issues, incentive programmes and subsidiary governance. Work closely with product and engineering on how we develop our products, advising on data rights, IP, licensing and AI-related questions early, before they become commercial issues. Build a scalable legal function: processes, templates, playbooks and tooling that support the business as it grows. Work closely with our external legal counsel, who handle commercial contracting, and build the structure and processes that make our joint work efficient and scalable. Set up clear playbooks, templates and workflows for commercial agreements, so our sales teams can move fast on standard deals and the right questions reach external counsel. Manage outside counsel across Sweden, the US and Ireland, and keep cross-jurisdictional matters moving. Own risk, compliance and governance matters as Quartr grows. Who you are 5+ years of relevant legal experience, in-house or at a law firm, with a strong foundation in Swedish corporate law. Comfortable owning legal end to end, with sound judgment on when to go deep and when to move on. Technical and curious enough to work closely with product and engineering, and to understand what we’re actually building. A builder’s mindset: you enjoy creating structure and processes, not just maintaining them. Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Based in Stockholm with a valid work permit. A plus, but not required Experience from a tech, SaaS or data company, ideally in a high-growth environment. Experience with data licensing, IP or AI-related legal questions. Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, such as the US or Ireland. Experience choosing and rolling out legal tooling, such as CLM, AI-assisted contract review or e-signature platforms.
