We are currently looking for a legal tech trainee to join our Legal Tech team in March 2027. " Working as a Legal Tech Trainee has been an invaluable experience that has sharpened both my legal awareness and my practical technical skills. I’ve been able to observe the practical work lawyers handle and how technology fits into their processes. The role has also allowed me to work directly with automation and AI‑related projects, each bringing its own learning curve and new skills. Altogether, the experience has strengthened my understanding of how technology is shaping the legal field and has helped me develop both my legal insight and my technical abilities in a meaningful way. " - Legal Tech Trainee As a legal tech trainee, you will assist our lawyers and support teams in various legal tech and AI-related projects. The tasks will vary but may include, for example, working with generative AI tools and AI-assisted reviews, exploring and evaluating emerging AI solutions for legal work, following developments in the legal technology and AI landscapes, automating tasks, documents and processes with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, co-organising technology-related training, and assisting in building queries, searches, and custom solutions. Ideally, you are a law student with a strong interest in technology and AI, or an information technology student with a keen interest in legal matters. The exact duration of your employment and working hours will be agreed upon separately. However, the ideal duration of the traineeship is at least 9 months and 3-4 days a week. The traineeship starts 1 March 2027. Skills and Requirements As this is a trainee position, we do not expect you to know everything, but to ensure that you will be able to succeed in your duties, we are looking for someone who: is a service-minded team player with a can-do attitude is curious about legal AI and legal tech and enjoys exploring new tools, searching for information and finding innovative solutions has experience with AI-powered tools is good at logical thinking and enjoys learning about things like formulas, coding, regular expressions, prompt engineering and working with AI models has attention to detail but is also able to see the bigger picture has a basic understanding of legal concepts in agreements and business transactions has proficient skills in Microsoft 365 has a basic understanding of, or interest in learning, commonly used programming languages such as Python is fluent in Finnish and English (knowledge of Swedish is an added bonus) What Is in It For You?
