Line Lead Supervisor - Plainfield - (1st) & (2nd) Shift

Qualifications: Proven supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume manufacturing, production, or assembly environment. LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Working knowledge of LEAN principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban) with a demonstrated ability to identify waste and implement continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. Experience overseeing diverse operational processes, including mechanical assembly, inventory handling, and aesthetic/finishing stages. What the job requires: Basic Prerequisites You must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs and a maximum of two moving violations in the last three years). Physical Demands & Work Environment This is a hands-on, physically active role. You will need to independently lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods while frequently walking, stooping, reaching, and pushing or pulling. The production environment can be loud, wet, and subject to extreme temperatures, vehicle fumes, or odors. You will be required to wear standard personal protective equipment, such as non-slip shoes, gloves, and safety eyewear. Professional Skills & Scheduling Expect a fast-paced, high-volume operation. You must be able to multitask, delegate workloads effectively, and resolve complex issues with guidance. Clear, professional communication—both written and verbal—is essential for interacting with your team. Flexibility is required, as you must be available to work variable schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed.
