Loan Operations - New York

Location: New York Role Type: Full-Time We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. You will be working as part of a fast-paced Loan Operations team, communicating with multiple teams internally and externally. We are looking for someone with commercial loans experience (bilateral and syndicated loans) and loan lifecycle knowledge. Key responsibilities: Oversee operational processes across the full syndicated loan lifecycle, including origination, funding, servicing, and settlement. Review and interpret credit agreements to ensure accurate execution of loan operations in accordance with terms and conditions. Coordinate with syndicate members, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to manage loan events, including amendments, refinancings, paydowns, restructures, and transfers. Perform quality control and reconciliation of loan transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies in data, documentation, or payments. Track and monitor financial covenants, ensuring compliance and timely reporting, and escalate breaches or concerns as needed. Prepare and review reports on loan activity, portfolio status, and key operational metrics for internal and external stakeholders. Manage collateral requirements, including tracking, verification, and maintaining appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with loan terms and conditions.
