Aspia is looking for an M&A Manager to join Group Business Development and help drive our continued growth across the Nordic region. This is a hands on role in a lean M&A team, with broad responsibility across the entire transaction process. You will work on platform investments, add on acquisitions and selected divestments, from identifying opportunities and developing the investment case to due diligence, negotiation and completion. You will report to the Group Head of M&A and work closely with Aspia’s Group Management Team, Country Managers and other senior stakeholders across the business. About Aspia Aspia is a leading Nordic provider of technology enabled accounting, payroll, tax and advisory services. Founded in 2018 under the ownership of IK Partners, Aspia was acquired by Vitruvian Partners in 2023. The Group has committed to delivering majority of its growth by 2030 through mergers and acquisitions, reinforcing the critical role of inorganic expansion in shaping Aspia's long-term strategy and value creation. The role You will take responsibility for the daily management of M&A processes across the Nordics. This includes: Identifying, approaching and evaluating potential acquisition targetsDriving transaction processes with a high degree of independence and ownership from initial outreach through completionCoordinating financial, commercial, legal, tax and other due diligence workstreamsDeveloping valuations and financial models, including DCF, LBO, comparable company and precedent transaction analysesAssessing transaction structures and supporting the negotiation of key commercial termsPreparing NBOs, LOIs, investment committee papers, Board materials and management presentationsTurning strategic, financial and diligence findings into clear investment recommendationsSupporting strategic and corporate development initiatives alongside core M&A responsibilitiesManaging internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the process Qualifications You have 2-3 years of relevant experience from investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, in house M&A or a leading strategy consultancy and expect you to have: Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skillsExperience working with complex processes involving several stakeholders and parallel workstreamsThe ability to form an independent view and communicate it clearlyStrong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader investment caseConfidence working with senior stakeholders, business owners and external advisersExcellent written and spoken Swedish and English Fluency in Swedish or another Nordic language is an advantage. Experience from business services, such as accounting, payroll, tax, audit, consulting or adjacent sectors, is also valuable but not a requirement. You are likely someone who enjoys taking ownership, works well at pace and is comfortable moving between detailed analysis and senior discussions. You are commercially minded, pragmatic and motivated by getting deals done, not simply analyzing them. You are able to drive complex processes with a high degree of independence and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
