Manager, Engineering

Requirements : Extensive experience working on medium to large projects in a technical capacity through accurate estimations, precise project planning, project oversight and delivery Strong hands-on experience designing & developing enterprise software using Java with Springboot Proficient in object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, server-side technologies and distributed system concepts(caching, asynchronous processing, multi-threading) Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting complex java codebase Passionate about writing clean, maintainable and scalable code with a deep focus on security Solid experience with cloud infrastructure platforms particularly AWS and databases Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional(Product/Design/QA) and geo-distributed teams Lead and mentor junior engineers Nice to have : Prior experience as TechLead Strong understanding of IAM protocols(FIDO, WebAuthn, SSO, SAML, OAuth) and identity management best practices Strong understanding of multi-factor authentication and phishing resistance Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices Some experience with javascript frameworks and basic UI development Prior experience building teams from ground-up Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years of experience designing and building enterprise grade software using Java at scale P25468_3497187 #LI-Hybrid The Okta Experience Supporting Your Well-Being Driving Social Impact Developing Talent and Fostering Connection + Community We are intentional about connection.
