We have a team of around 50 professionals working across multiple locations, including Gothenburg, Björbo, and Malaga.</span></p><div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>About the Role</strong><br>As Manager R&D Hardware, you will lead and develop a team of hardware and mechanical engineers located in Gothenburg and Björbo. This is a leadership position requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on technical engagement, where you will support the team in problem-solving, planning and quality-focused development work. You will be responsible for team leadership, resource planning, competence development and continuous improvement, ensuring that the right processes, tools and capabilities are in place to support the development of Allgon’s products.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>This position can be based in either Gothenburg or Björbo and reports directly to the Chief Technology & Product Officer.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Manage, lead and develop the R&D Hardware team, fostering collaboration innovation, and continuous improvement.</span></p></li><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Plan and allocate team resources to support development projects, research initiatives, and ongoing product maintenance.</span></p></li><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Participate in and lead development projects, including estimation work, pre-studies and technology research.</span></p></li><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Manage unplanned and acute product maintenance in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Drive process improvements, competence development, and adoption of new tools.</span></p></li><li><p class="Liststycke1"><span>Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to Allgon's standards and processes for quality assurance and compliance.</span></p></li></ul><div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><br>We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with a strong technical foundation in hardware development. You enjoy developing people, building high-performing teams and creating structure in a dynamic engineering environment.
