Mechanical Engineer

Air China Stockholm Mechanical Engineer Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a member carrier of the world’s largest airline network - Star Alliance. Air China Stockholm was established thirty-eight years ago, and it is constantly expanding. The company currently is seeking a new Mechanical Engineer to a growing Station team within the Air China Stockholm Office. The working location is Arlanda Airport Stockholm. Job description: 1.Complete the airworthiness release of Air China aircraft at the station in accordance with the applicable maintenance management requirements, ensuring the continued airworthiness of Air China aircraft at the station and the normal operation of flights. 2. Be responsible for supervising and inspecting the work of contracted maintenance organizations in accordance with the maintenance agreements, and ensuring the implementation of management requirements for contracted maintenance organizations through timely communication, supervision, and inspection. 3. Be responsible for reporting the operational status of flights at the station to the AMC (Maintenance Control Center) and the outstation maintenance management department as required. 4. Be responsible for the management of Air China’s dedicated maintenance tools, equipment, and materials at the station. 5. Complete the training of contracted/appointed maintenance personnel in accordance with the requirements of the outstation maintenance management department. 6. Be responsible for organizing and coordinating the troubleshooting and rectification of major defects or malfunctions of Air China aircraft at the station, and for coordinating the provision of required maintenance materials and parts support. 7. Assist in completing various maintenance audits at the station and ensure adequate preparation for inspections and audits. 8.Assist the Station Manager with crew communication and station support/ground handling coordination. Qualifications: 1.15 years or more of experience in aircraft maintenance. 2.A CAAC Aircraft Maintenance License with a type rating for at least one aircraft type. 3.Strong knowledge of operational safety, transportation services, flight revenue management, and cost control. 3.Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required; Chinese is mandatory. 4. Must be able and flexible to work variable schedules including overtime, weekends and holidays. 5.Work permit in Sweden. 6.A bachelor's degree or higher is required. Air China Stockholm can offer: 1.
