Mechanical Engineer

HanmiGlobal is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 12 years of experience, primarily in projects related to the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW). The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate a strong expertise in mechanical design, project management, and client coordination. This is an on-site position requiring excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Key Responsibilities Review mechanical designs, shop drawings, and material submittals. Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues. Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities. Prepare technical reports, inspection logs, and progress documentation. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested). 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction, infrastructure, or consultancy. Strong experience working on PAHW (Public Authority for Housing Welfare) projects in Kuwait is highly preferred. Solid understanding of Kuwait building codes, mechanical standards, and regulatory requirements. Proven track record on large‑scale building or infrastructure projects. Strong technical review, coordination, and reporting capabilities.
