Avdelning Development Locations Stockholm Safety Bolt develops wireless retrofit sensors that monitor bolted joints in critical infrastructure. Using magnetostrictive sensing, each sensor converts mechanical stress in a standard steel bolt into a measurable signal, giving asset owners continuous data on clamping force without modifying the joint or replacing any hardware. Measurements are transmitted wirelessly to a cloud platform, where trend analysis and alerts identify developing risk long before a scheduled inspection would. The company focuses on wind energy, bridges and civil infrastructure, rail, tunnels and mining, and heavy process industry. The technology is patented in the US, Europe and Asia and has been independently validated by several large industrial partners.
