Mechatronics Engineer

For our client Husqvarna we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer. Assignment description In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical parts for electronic units, ensuring performance, quality, and lifecycle requirements are met. You will act as technical owner within your area, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Tasks • Design mechanical solutions for electronic systems, including PCBA housings, mounting solutions, thermal management components, and complete wiring harness assemblies (routing in product, dimensioning etc). • Define technical requirements and plan, perform, and document verification and validation activities. • Create and maintain engineering documentation, product structures, and design changes in CATIA and Teamcenter. • Collaborate cross-functionally within R&D, Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, and external suppliers. • Coordinate and perform prototype and sample builds for assigned subsystems, such as control units and wiring harnesses. • Follow up and validate subsystem performance and integration in complete products. • Ensure that designs meet functional, quality, manufacturability, cost, and reliability requirements. Required skills • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent • 3+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, preferably with electronic components and wiring. • CATIA experience • Teamcenter • English, spoken and written required. Swedish preferred, but not required. Personal skills • Structured way of working – Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables in parallel. • Quality-focused mindset – Understanding of quality requirements for high-volume production components, including the cost implications of defects and rework. • Strong communication skills – Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate directly with global suppliers. Onsite : 100% Location : Huskvarna Payment terms: 60 + 3-5 banking days Seniority : Level 2-3 For this client sub-contracting is not preferred.
