Medical Advisor

We are looking for a person who has:  Relevant academic medical or scientific degree, research experience (PhD) is not required but will be considered as an advantage.   Minimum of 3 + years’ experience in either a similar position as a Medical Advisor.  Alternatively, an experienced Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate, or Clinical Trial Manager looking to take a next step in their career. Proven leadership in cross-functional settings, integrating medical insights into business strategy  Demonstrated ability to communicate complex medical/scientific concepts to internal and key external stakeholders in a clear and inspiring way  Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for assigned therapeutic area/product and in medical research in general.   Experience in a matrix environment. Fluency in Swedish.  Fluency in English is required to facilitate communications between the affiliate medical department, Regional and International Medical Affairs and other AbbVie functional staff.   Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.   Demonstrated digital fluency, with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and leverage digital platforms and internal systems to drive results.  Willingness to travel   We put great importance to your personal qualities and are looking for a candidate with:   Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare environment  Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done.   Flexible mindset and capable of dealing with ambiguity.   About AbbVie AbbVie's mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines and solutions that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
