ABOUT THE ROLE This is a generalist commercial role at a pre-seed energy technology startup, sitting at the heart of the business and working directly with founders. You'll build the commercial infrastructure — across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management — that allows a fast-scaling, regulated energy retailer to grow with confidence. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own cross-functional commercial challenges end-to-end, from scoping and planning through to execution. - Operate across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support, and partner management as priorities evolve. - Identify broken or missing processes and fix them proactively, without waiting to be asked. - Help define and shape operating practices alongside your day-to-day responsibilities. - Contribute to a team culture grounded in ownership, clear communication, and high-quality work. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years of demonstrated high performance in a demanding environment such as a high-growth startup, consulting, investment banking, professional sports, or high-end hospitality. - Versatile professional background — finance, legal, operations, partnerships, or a comparable domain that brings real commercial leverage. - Fast learner who can move from novice to effective within days by engaging with experts and reasoning from first principles. - Strong interpersonal presence: warm and engaging with the ability to drive results when needed. - A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you notice what needs doing and do it. - German fluency at C1 level or above is required. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €75,000 – €100,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION On-site in Berlin Mitte, Germany. This is a fully in-person role.
