<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are seeking a commercially minded <strong>Net Zero Consultant & Energy Auditor</strong> to launch and shape our UK carbon reduction service line. This is a brand-new, high-autonomy role where you will lead onsite energy audits, design net-zero strategies for corporate clients, and partner with our business development team to drive growth.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Onsite Energy Audits:</strong> Conduct technical surveys of client facilities (assessing heating, cooling, lighting, compressed air, and plant rooms).</p></li><li><p><strong>ESOS Compliance:</strong> Deliver end-to-end ESOS Phase 4 compliance assessments and standardized reporting in line with PAS 51215:2014.</p></li><li><p><strong>Data Analysis:</strong> Perform consumption profiling, identify significant energy consumption, and calculate intensity metrics.</p></li><li><p><strong>Carbon Strategies:</strong> Quantify and prioritize carbon-reduction opportunities, including payback and life-cycle cost analysis.</p></li><li><p><strong>Commercial Growth:</strong> Partner with UK Business Development to attend pitches, scope projects, and identify cross-selling opportunities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>ESOS Lead Assessor:</strong> Current membership on an approved register (CIBSE, Energy Institute, EMA, Elmhurst, etc.) <strong>OR</strong> eligible to register within 3 months of appointment.</p></li><li><p><strong>Auditing Background:</strong> 2+ years of professional energy auditing experience relevant to PAS 51215:2014 (4+ years preferred).</p></li><li><p><strong>Scale:</strong> Proven experience leading audits for large organizations (250+ employees).</p></li><li><p><strong>Regulatory Knowledge:</strong> Solid working knowledge of ESOS Regulations 2014, including recent Phase 4 updates.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Key Attributes</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Commercially Minded:</strong> Comfortable collaborating with sales and finance teams to drive business value.</p></li><li><p><strong>Autonomous:</strong> A self-starter who takes complete ownership of report quality and delivery speed.</p></li><li><p><strong>Strong Character:</strong> An engaging, collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul>
