About the Assignment
We are looking for a senior embedded software engineer to join an advanced technology team working with autonomous driving and vehicle systems.
The assignment focuses on low-level software development, platform integration and communication between software and vehicle hardware. You will work in a technically complex environment where reliability, system understanding and hands-on troubleshooting are essential.
Previous experience with NVIDIA Drive OS is a key requirement. Combined with strong C++ and Linux skills, you should have experience integrating sensors, hardware components or similar platform-level functionality in embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain embedded software components in C++ on Linux.
• Integrate, configure and troubleshoot software components within NVIDIA Drive OS.
• Contribute to sensor integration, hardware communication and data flows within vehicle systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues across software, operating system and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineers across embedded software, hardware and autonomous driving systems.
• Contribute to system reliability, performance and maintainability.
Required Experience
• Strong hands-on experience developing software in C++.
• Solid experience with Linux, preferably in embedded or hardware-adjacent environments.
• Previous practical experience working with NVIDIA Drive OS.
• Experience integrating sensors, hardware components or platform functionality in embedded systems. Experience at any relevant software layer is welcome.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently in complex technical environments.
• Good communication skills in English.
Meriting Experience
• Automotive, autonomous driving, robotics or other advanced embedded systems.
• Experience with HAL, VHAL, BSP, ECU integration, device interfaces or platform services.
• Sensor integration involving cameras, radar, LiDAR or other sensor technologies.
• Experience with Linux networking, filesystem APIs, hardware interfaces or high-volume data flows.
• Experience with NVIDIA DriveWorks, NVENC or hardware-accelerated processing.
• Experience with cloud-connected systems or platforms such as Google Cloud.
• Experience with Go.
Note: Direct experience with GMSL cameras is not required. We are primarily looking for a strong C++/Linux engineer with practical NVIDIA Drive OS experience and a broader understanding of embedded platforms and hardware integration.
