O2C Business Architect - ERP

Assignment Overview: The organization has two ongoing ERP initiatives. The ERP Backbone program is driving the transformation of our global industrial ERP landscape. Within this program, O2C is a key process area with the accountability within the Commercial organization with the scope for sales of trucks, busses and power solutions (engines). In parallel we are also running the Commercial Backbone Program for the commercial organization for wholesale and retail. The ERP part of the Commercial Backbone Program is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365. To ensure successful outcomes for the Commercial deliveries in these programs, we require an experienced ERP Business Architect to extend the Commercial E2E Architecture team. This role will work in close collaboration with program stakeholders, ensuring end-to-end consistency across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, alignment with other ERP processes and the Commercial Target Architecture. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables: • Represent and safeguard the O2C and O2D processes within the program - and general for the Commercial program - from a process and architectural perspective. • Ensure business objectives and target architecture are adhered to, steering design decisions toward efficiency, scalability, and industry best practices. • Act as a results-driven partner to the realization leads, focusing on pragmatic solutions and progress • Support Business Process Owners (BPOs) in the establishment, documentation, and governance of global processes and templates. • Facilitate change management and manage O2C-related change requests within the program. • Collaborate with cross-program streams and the Service Integrator to secure seamless integration. • Ability to identify and communicate business impacts when aligning processes with industry standards. Your Profile, Experience (Must Have/Nice To Have): Must Have: 8+ years of documented experience relevant to the role Documented experience within the Order-to-Delivery domain in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of sales, delivery, and invoicing processes. Significant experience working as a Business Architect in complex and global environments. Documented ERP experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Experience with process documentation and process documentation tools (ARIS is currently used). Other Specifications: Focus area: Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Order-to-Delivery (O2D). ERP landscape: includes SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Part of clien't Commercial's End-to-End Architecture team. Collaboration with program stakeholders, Process Developers, realization leads, cross-program process streams, and Service Integrator. Personal / Soft Skills: Pragmatic and results-oriented mindset. Strong stakeholder communication skills. Strong collaboration and cross-functional alignment capabilities. Ability to balance business objectives, architectural principles, and practical delivery needs. Education: University degree preferably in domain of Computer Science. Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Start date: 2026-08-24 End date: 2027-07-30 Location : Södertälje, hybrid. Onsite 3 days a week.
