Off-cycle M&A Intern- Stockholm
The M&A internship is well suited to a student or recent graduate seeking insight into principal side dealmaking within a private equity-owned group. It offers experience in an entrepreneurial environment where interns can make an immediate impact and work on live transactions from day one. We are looking for an intern to join the M&A team within Aspia Group Business Development. The internship is expected to last six months on a full-time basis, starting in January 2027. As an intern, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Screening and evaluating potential acquisition targets, including conducting segment, market and company researchBuilding financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, LBO, comparable company and precedent transaction analysesSupporting the preparation of non-binding offers, letters of intent, investment committee papers, Board materials and management presentationsAssisting in the execution of live transactions, including coordinating due diligence workstreams Requirements Currently pursuing, or recently completed, an MSc or BSc in finance, economics, industrial engineering or a related field, with excellent academic credentialsStrong quantitative and analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detailA self-starting approach to problem solving, reliability and the ability to deliver at pace across parallel tasksProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modelling experience from studies, internships or casework is an advantagePrevious experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity or in-house M&A is an advantageFluency in written and spoken Swedish and English About Aspia Aspia is a leading Nordic provider of technology-enabled accounting, payroll, tax and advisory services.
