Operational Planner – Supply Chain & Logistics About the Assignment We are looking for an analytical and proactive Operational Planner for an exciting consulting assignment within a large international industrial organization in Eskilstuna. You will join a global supply chain and logistics environment undergoing significant digital transformation, where data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics and continuous improvement are key priorities. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing global spare parts distribution, improving operational performance and developing smarter, more efficient supply chain solutions. Key Responsibilities As an Operational Planner, you will: Plan and coordinate spare parts distribution across international distribution centers. Monitor, analyze and visualize supply chain performance against defined targets and KPIs. Identify deviations, implement corrective actions and proactively resolve operational challenges. Collaborate with international stakeholders across logistics, operations and business functions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and distribution efficiency. Perform in-depth analysis of large datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights. Support digital transformation initiatives involving advanced analytics, automation and modern planning solutions. Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain performance. Requirements To succeed in this role, we believe you have: A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics or another relevant field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns and communicate analytical findings clearly. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment. A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and initiatives. A strong interest in digital technologies, data analytics and supply chain optimization. The ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and drive improvements. Meriting Skills & Experience Experience or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas is highly valued: Supply chain, logistics and inventory management. Programming languages such as Python, Java and SQL. Microsoft Azure and cloud-based technologies. DevOps and agile working methodologies. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Advanced data analytics, reporting and visualization. Digital transformation and process improvement within logistics operations. You do not need to be an expert in every technical area.
