<h2><span>About the Role</span></h2><p><span>Wrknest is looking for an Operations Quality Engineer on behalf of a client. In this role, you will support the Operations Quality Manager with quality expertise to ensure and continuously improve quality throughout the production processes.</span></p><p><span>You will work both operationally and strategically, monitoring quality performance, analysing deviations and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role involves close collaboration with Production, Supplier Quality, R&amp;D and Production Engineering. You will also initiate and drive Lean Six Sigma activities aimed at reducing scrap, rework and other quality-related issues.</span></p><p><span>This is a role for someone who enjoys working close to production, where several challenges may need attention at the same time. You will have the opportunity to work throughout the improvement process, from data analysis and root cause investigation to implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.</span></p><h2><span>Your Future Responsibilities</span></h2><p><span>As an Operations Quality Engineer, you will have a broad role within quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will analyse quality performance, drive improvement activities together with relevant stakeholders and ensure that identified issues are translated into effective actions.</span></p><p><span>Your responsibilities will include:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Monitoring, analysing and reporting quality parameters from production</span></p></li><li><p><span>Initiating and driving Lean Six Sigma activities and improvement projects</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identifying opportunities for improvement related to areas such as scrap and rework</span></p></li><li><p><span>Performing root cause analyses and reporting identified issues to R&amp;D and Production Engineering</span></p></li><li><p><span>Managing and following up deviations in SAP</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting Production, Supplier Quality, R&amp;D and other relevant functions in quality-related matters</span></p></li><li><p><span>Initiating and driving production and delivery stops when required from a quality perspective</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting Production Engineering in developing PFMEA and Control Plans</span></p></li><li><p><span>Actively participating in the Andon process</span></p></li><li><p><span>Performing internal audits</span></p></li><li><p><span>Leading Continuous Improvement activities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting managers with quality-related training and education of personnel</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting Customer Product Support</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participating in production-related projects</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>We Are Looking for Someone Who</span></h2><p><span>To succeed in this role, you have a solid understanding of quality management in a production environment and practical experience with established quality tools and improvement methodologies.</span></p><p><span><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Strong knowledge and practical experience in quality management tools and methodologies</span></p></li><li><p><span>Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of APQP</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with Control Plans</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with PFMEA</span></p></li></ul><p><span>You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable handling several issues in parallel while maintaining focus on long-term improvements. Since the role involves collaboration across different functions as well as contact with suppliers and end customers, you communicate clearly and can adapt your approach to different stakeholders.
