OT Network Engineer

Assignment Description We are seeking a structured, analytical, and technically strong OT Network Engineer with senior-level experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure. You should have strong problem-solving skills and be comfortable working both independently and across technical teams. A background as a Network Engineer, Network Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a comparable role is relevant. The assignment involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable network and server infrastructure within complex SCADA and OT/IT environments. You will configure and troubleshoot Cisco networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls, support network automation with Ansible, and use Git and GitHub for version control. You will also resolve complex network issues and contribute to infrastructure security, standardisation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional initiatives. Required Qualifications: Professional working proficiency in English and good communication skills. Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, and Ansible. Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking technologies. Experience from enterprise infrastructure and networking environments, combined with strong experience in implementing and designing complex network topologies. Experience at a senior level aligned with SSN-4 for development work or with a comparable classification. It is considered advantageous if you have experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management, as well as experience using LaTeX. Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is also advantageous, together with knowledge of additional networking technologies and vendors. Experience with SCADA, operational technology, industrial networks, or critical infrastructure is also considered advantageous. Experience from operational technology, SCADA, industrial automation, or mission-critical environments is particularly valuable.
